| Professional Coach Certification Program |
| |
Adler Learning-USA is one of the world’s premier coach certification programs emphasizing executive and leadership coaching. Adler coaches are distinguished by their ability to skillfully and consistently exceed client expectations through coaching that engages commitment and creativity, and delivers bottom line results.
|
The Adler
Professional Coach Training Program is accredited by the
International Coach Federation (ICF)*
How it Works
Our certification program begins with the comprehensive
FOUNDATIONS of PROFESSIONAL COACHING Course and continues with two additional
5-day courses. Our Phoenix, Arizona teaching
location is Arizona State University - West Campus (West of I-17 and Thunderbird Rd). Other USA locations by request based on demand.
Once the course work has been completed, students move on to
the Practicum, which is s 6-month virtual (via phone conference) learning experience
wiith several different components. At the end of that time, students are eligible
to take the certification exam once they have logged a mimimum of 100 coaching
hours.
Credentials
-
Upon successful completion
of Practicum, students receive the designation of ATC– Adler Trained Coach
-
Upon graduation (after
passing the exam) students are awarded the credential ACPC – Adler Certified
Professional Coach
Graduation
as an ACPC satisfies all requirements for ICF’s entry level credential
(ACC – Associate Certified Coach), which may be obtained simply by providing
proof of graduation and other required documentation, along with ICF’s
application and fee.
Adler's partnership with University of Toronto's Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE) makes this program even more valuable. Certificates of Course Completion and final Graduation Certificates are issued jointly by both learning organizations. For more information, please visit the OISE website. This affiliation with a University program may qualify our courses for tuition reimbursement by your organization. (Please check with your organization for confirmation of eligibility.)
Student Guidelines
In an effort to promote the most effective learning environment, we have compiled some guidelines that serve to support our professional standards of excellence for our staff as well as our program content and delivery. In coaching as in all relationships, clarity about expectations sets the stage for utually statisfying interactions. It is in this spirit that we set forth these STUDENT GUIDELINES.
* Accreditation is awarded
to programs that meet the rigorous professional standards established by the
ICF for coach training programs. Graduation from an accredited program
meets the ICF requirements for individual coach certification for: student contact
learning hours, mentor coaching, and passing an ICF-approved exam. Accreditation
does not warrant or guarantee the effectiveness of the training or the student’s
ability to build a successful coaching practice.
